Après Down Winter Jacket

I bought this coat as an investment for winters to come as I had previously purchased a parka from Lole almost 10 years ago that I absolutely loved. I had the coat professionally dry cleaned for it's first wash, and it shrunk so much it has become unwearable. Before washing it was great, but how do you justify spending so much on something that can't be cleaned.

I purchased the Après Down Winter Jacket in Outerspace B773 / XXS. I’m 5'2", 110 lbs, and while the coat is a bit long on me, it’s incredibly lightweight and very warm. The hood is quite oversized but cozy; at first it felt too big and wide and I worried it would catch the wind, but once I cinched it in, it stayed put and works much better.

My only real complaint is the side snaps - they tend to pop open when I bend down or take a big step, which can be a bit annoying. Some kind of snap extenders to prevent the side from blowing wide open would be a great improvement. This may just be a short-person issue, but worth noting.

The jacket runs quite large. I’m usually an XS, but since this style comes in XXS, I was unsure which size to choose. After contacting Lole customer support, I learned the model in the photos is wearing an XS, which confirmed that XXS was the right choice for me. It fits perfectly - an XS would have been huge.

It would be very helpful if Lole listed the model sizes in the product description, as that would make sizing decisions much easier. Overall, a great coat if you size appropriately.

It was on final sale. I choose it after reading all the overall positive review. I'm disapointed. It looks cheap and it is more of a -10-15 vest. I choose a size up. It is true to size.
